Jaquita W. says: You will really enjoy Elijah of Buxton by Christopher Paul Curtis. This book was about Elijah, the first child born into freedom in Buxton, Canada. Elijah takes an exciting, but dangerous journey to America to catch a thief. Will Elijah find the courage to get back home? If you love historical fiction, you will love this book!

Book: In the Land of the the Lawn Weenies and Other Misadventures by David Lubar

Chris J. says: This book of short stories has many tales. For example, some are about vampires, a cell phone that tells the future, and fairies. This is a good book, but it is dumb. Not the bad kind of dumb, but the funny kind. If you like this type of book, I recommend that you read In the Land of the Lawn Weenies.
