Check out the raised bed gardens that were recently planted by the Green Club. The garden is located in the grassy area next to the teacher parking lot (outside of "C" and "I" Halls). Approximately 15 students have participated in the Green Club which started meeting every Thursday after school beginning in mid-March. The plan is to expand the garden and incorporate some landscaping elements with the help of CADA classes. The following teachers can answer any questions you have about the garden: Mr. Bryson, Mrs. McDaniel, Ms. Roberts, Ms. Gonzales-Black, and Mr. Ford-Hawkins.
The Green Club has extra plants available for the taking next to the blue rain barrel. If all goes well, there will be some tomatoes, peppers, and basil for the faculty to taste later in the summer (and at the beginning of the school year).
Donations of any amount to the Green Club are greatly appreciated!
